Great turnout was on hand for the May 2nd and 3rd race which featured an NMA Ponca City Qualifier, a Gulf Coast Shootout round and a Gulf Coast Championship Series round. Loads of Kawasaki riders turned out to battle for their share of the Kawasaki Contingency. The pro class was also stacked with riders trying to take home their share of the $2,000.00 purse. Some stand-out rides came from Steven Clarke, Johnny Moore, Joey Rossi, Nathan Whitlow, Heath Harrison, Jeremy Domingue, Sam Landry and Jon Murray Barr. For complete results click HERE.

The 2009 AMA Air Nautiques Loretta Lynn Area Qualifier at Golden Pine Raceway held on April 4th and 5th draws a record crowd. Alabama took the prize for the state with highest attendance. All classes featured some of the fastest riders in the region. Some of the riders that really stood out included Tyler Stewart (LA), Sean Lapinovich (GA), Justin Summers (FL), Gannon Audette (GA), Johnny Moore (MS), and Colton Ford (AL). Golden Pine Raceway is very excited about our 2009 racing schedule. In 2009 Golden Pine Raceway will host some excellent events. 3 of the 4 events will feature Kawasaki Contingency, a guaranteed pro purse of at least $2,000.00, and will be AMA sanctioned. Additionally 2 of the 4 events will feature Honda Contingency. Golden Pine Raceway is also excited to bring back an AMA Pro-Am points paying event in 2009.
